Donate Blood at Nyack Public Library

Each day, Patch provides the nuts and bolts of local happenings with our five-bullet local dispatch.

1) The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive at Nyack Public Library from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. Participants can call 1-800-RED-CROSS to make an appointment, but walk-ins are welcome.

2) Valley Cottage Library will hold a free showing of the movie Les Miserables starring Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway 2 p.m. Wednesday. The adaptation of the Broadway musical is two hours, 38 minutes long.

3) Wednesday's skies will be clear and sunny with no chance of rain. The high temperature is expected to be around 82 degrees.
