Please avoid the marina area.  A sewage overflow has resulted with raw sewage covering much of the pavement area along with structural debris.  The area should be considered dangerous.

The Village of Nyack is without power. As of midnight last night, O and R was reporting among their 300,000.

Power restoration has begun but this will be a long process and we urge everyone to be patient. There are many street closings Village wide because of downed trees and power lines.

Please call O and R if you have a downed power line, but only call once, to ensure the system does not get overloaded and emergencies are missed.

Please stay in your homes and note that all non-essential traffic must stay off the road.

Regularly scheduled household garbage pickup will resume today.

Parking rules are in effect. The Village lots will continue to be available for free parking.

Village Hall is closed.

We can all get through this and return to normal life but disregard for common sense will result in injuries or loss of life. We will update you as soon as new information becomes available.
